Import a Character

Import a character from GURPS Character Sheet.

The GURPS Calculator Characters utility works with characters made in GURPS Character Sheet (GCS), which is free.

How to import a character

  1. Log in to GURPS Calculator or create a free account.
  2. Download the latest GURPS Character Sheet (GCS).
  3. In GCS, create a character or open one, and save it. This gives you a .gcs file.
  4. Choose that file below and click Upload.

To update a character later, save it again in GCS and upload the file over the existing character (pick it from the list when uploading). Your current HP, FP and notes are kept.

Characters saved by older versions of GCS (GCS 4) need to be opened and saved again in the current GCS first. GURPS Character Assistant (GCA) files are not supported.
